Edventure Tours Sailing Expeditions are designed to take students beyond the classroom and into a fully immersive, hands-on environment where confidence, teamwork, and real-world skills develop naturally. These 5–7 day programs, launching from Spring 2027, combine adventure, education, and personal growth in some of the most inspiring coastal environments in the world.

Along the California Coast, students step aboard a traditional tall ship and become part of a working crew. Whether departing from San Francisco or the Catalina Islands, this experience is about more than just sailing—it’s about responsibility, communication, and resilience. Students learn to hoist sails, navigate coastal waters, understand weather patterns, and work together to operate the vessel. With the Pacific stretching out around them, they gain a powerful sense of independence and perspective, all while exploring some of California’s most iconic and beautiful shorelines.

For those looking for a more tropical setting, our Bahamas Sailing & Conservation program, delivered in partnership with Broadreach Adventures, offers a dynamic blend of sailing and marine science. Students live aboard a catamaran as they island-hop through crystal-clear waters, developing practical sailing skills while engaging directly with marine ecosystems. Snorkeling coral reefs, studying ocean habitats, and contributing to conservation efforts bring environmental learning to life in a way that is immediate and unforgettable.

Across both experiences, the focus is consistent: active participation, meaningful challenge, and personal growth. Students are not passengers—they are crew members, decision-makers, and explorers.
