Mediterranean Adventure:

The Modern Grand Tour

For centuries, the Grand Tour of Europe was considered an essential part of a young person’s education. Traditionally associated with wealthy and privileged travelers, it offered the opportunity to experience the great cities, art, architecture, history and cultures of Europe firsthand.

Our Mediterranean Adventure brings that idea into the 21st century

making an extraordinary European journey accessible to today’s students.

Beginning in Barcelona, students cruise through the Mediterranean to Provence, Nice and Monaco, Florence and Pisa, Rome, Salerno and Sicily. One day they may be discovering Renaissance art and Roman history; the next, exploring the French Riviera, tasting Italian food or looking across the spectacular Amalfi Coast.

But there’s another side to this adventure — and that’s part of the fun.

The Mediterranean has long been synonymous with glamour, style and the celebrity lifestyle. Students can experience the chic atmosphere of the Côte d’Azur and Monaco, wander through fashionable Mediterranean towns, explore beautiful Sicily and enjoy life aboard a modern cruise ship.

There’s a little taste of the world of superyachts, movie stars and European sophistication — without requiring a celebrity-sized budget.

For teachers, it’s an extraordinary travelling classroom covering history, geography, art, architecture, food and culture.

For parents, it combines structured international travel with opportunities for independence, confidence and friendship.

For students, it might simply feel like they’re living the good life for a week.

The Grand Tour was once reserved for the privileged few. We think today’s students deserve their turn.

The world is our classroom.
