INTO THE ARCTIC – Canada’s Great Winter Expedition

Journey beyond the ordinary on an unforgettable 10-day winter expedition through Canada. From Calgary and the spectacular Canadian Rockies to Yellowknife and the edge of the Arctic, students experience a world shaped by snow, ice and extraordinary landscapes.

Snowshoe through frozen wilderness, explore an ice canyon, experience dog sledding, try ice fishing and develop practical winter survival skills. In Yellowknife, discover northern Indigenous culture and search the night sky for the spectacular Northern Lights.

Designed by educators and youth-development professionals, this expedition is about more than adventure.

Students are challenged to develop grit, resilience, independence, teamwork and confidence while learning to adapt, problem-solve and support one another.

Supported throughout by experienced local professionals, Into the Arctic combines adventure, geography, ecology, culture and experiential learning.

Step outside. Discover what you’re capable of. Return with more than photographs.

Teachers - Into the Arctic is recommended for those who are comfortable participating in outdoor activities in genuine winter conditions.

Participants should be prepared to walk through snow while carrying a day pack of approximately 15 lbs (7 kg). Appropriate preparation, specialist winter equipment and guidance will form part of the expedition experience. -

Participants need to be physically capable, willing to be outdoors in real cold weather, and prepared to participate rather than simply observe.

If this is you and your students - lets make this happen & make college applications really stand out.
